The Special Needs Fund (SNF) provides financial support to high financial need undergraduate students and graduate students to assist with health-related expenses such as deductibles, copays, coinsurance or local transportation to off-campus providers that are not covered by insurance, financial aid or other University resources.
The Special Needs Fund is supported by the Auxiliary to the Isabella McCosh Infirmary.
- Once a request is submitted, the review process takes up to 10 business days, and decisions are sent to students by email.
- Financial need of undergraduate students requesting funding is determined through the Undergraduate Financial Aid Office.
- Funding does not exceed $300 each academic year, and required documentation must be submitted by May 15 to receive funding. Unused funds from the previous academic year do not roll over.
