Vision
Rejuvenation • Reflection • Camaraderie
Community Care Day (CCD) offers the entire Princeton University community (undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff) a range of fun and relaxing activities throughout the day, ending with a culminating event to bring the whole community together.
The idea of CCD came directly from students, and its goal is to encourage our community to develop habits and practices for integrating self- and community care into their daily and weekly life. CCD is not a one-day solution but rather a way to put a point of focus on rejuvenation, reflection, and camaraderie that we hope will continue on for each person after the day wraps. All of the offerings are drop-in and many are led by offices and groups that lead wellness, arts, and outdoors activities that you can continue to engage with throughout the year.
Community Care Day Working Group
Community Care Day is brought to you by the Office of the Vice President for Campus Life, and an undergraduate student, graduate student and staff working group drawn from Campus Club, Campus Recreation, the Graduate School, the Graduate Student Government, Health Promotion and Prevention Services, Office of Dean of Undergraduate Students, the Office of Campus Engagement, Outdoor Action, the Undergraduate Student Government, and the Class of 1961 Foundation.
